Book Machu Picchu tickets through our advanced and easy reservation system. Click on buy tickets and it will take you to an exclusive section so you can start to see the availability and buy in an easy and safe way.

Choose the type of route or circuit you wish to purchase, then select the date that is available and then the schedule. Then you will be able to add extras to your ticket and finally click on buy ticket and you will be taken to the checkout. Complete your reservation by filling out the passenger and billing information, we accept all major credit and debit cards. 

Follow this:

• Go to Buy Tickets section (UP). 

• Select the type of ticket and route, then click on Check Availability.
• Then it will open the ticket page you selected, here you can choose the date and times available. Then add the number of tickets you wish to purchase as well as the different types.

• Finally click on Buy now and you will go to the checkout page; here you will be able to fill in your billing and passenger information.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the official ticketing website of the Ministry of Culture of Peru: TuBoleto.cultura.pe. This is the official platform for purchasing tickets to Machu Picchu and other archaeological sites.

Step 2: Select Your Destination

On the main page, you will see various destinations. Click on “Machu Picchu” to proceed.

Step 3: Select the Ticket Type

There are different rates available:

• General Rate: For foreign visitors.
• Promotional Rate: For Peruvian visitors and members of the Andean Community (CAN).
• Tickets for Cusqueños: For residents of Cusco.

Choose the appropriate ticket type based on your eligibility.

Step 4: Choose Your Circuit and Route

Machu Picchu has 3 circuits divided into 10 routes. Select the circuit and specific route you wish to take. The options include:

• Circuit 1: Upper terrace route, Intipunku Cover Route, Puente Inka Route
• Circuit 2: Classic Designed Route, Lower Terrace Route
• Circuit 3: Designed Royalty Route, Great Cavern Route, Huchuy Picchu Route and Huayna Picchu.

Step 5: Choose the Date and Time

Select the date you wish to visit and choose an available time slot. Each time slot has a limited number of tickets, so it’s important to book in advance, especially during peak seasons.

Step 6: Enter Visitor Information

Fill in the required details for each visitor, including name, date of birth, nationality, and type of identification. Ensure that all information is accurate as it will be checked at the entrance.

Step 7: Review and Confirm Your Booking

Review all the details of your booking, including the circuit, date, time, and visitor information. Confirm that everything is correct before proceeding to payment.

Step 8: Choose Payment Method

Select your preferred payment method. The website accepts various payment options, including credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), and local payment options like BCP and IZIPAY.

Step 9: Complete the Payment

Enter your payment details and complete the transaction. Ensure that you receive a confirmation email with your tickets attached. Print your tickets or have them available on your mobile device to present at the entrance.

Additional Tips

• Book in Advance: Tickets can sell out quickly, especially for popular routes like Huayna Picchu. Book as early as possible.
• Check for Updates: Occasionally, the Ministry of Culture updates the ticketing process or availability. Check the official website for the latest information.
• Bring Identification: Carry a valid ID or passport as it will be checked along with your ticket at the entrance.

In Aguas Calientes, you have the option to purchase Machu Picchu tickets in person, following these guidelines:

• Daily Limit:
  Only 1,000 tickets are sold per day. This limit helps manage the flow of visitors and preserve the site.

• Purchase for the Next Day Only:
  Tickets bought in person are valid only for the day following the purchase. It is not possible to buy tickets for the same day, so planning ahead is essential.

• In-Person Purchase with Personal Documentation:
  Purchases must be made personally and in person. You will be required to present valid identification (such as a government-issued ID) to confirm your identity, as each ticket is personal and non-transferable.

• Distribution Among Circuits:
  The 1,000 tickets available daily are divided among all visitor circuits at Machu Picchu. This means that availability may vary depending on the circuit you choose, so it’s advisable to check the specific details in advance.
