Most Machu Picchu tickets are issued for a specific entry date and time slot. Once purchased, changes are generally not permitted because the tickets are time-sensitive and non-transferable. In exceptional circumstances, you might be able to request a change by contacting customer support directly on the official platform, but it’s best to finalize your dates in advance.

It’s also a good idea to have a printed or digital copy of your ticket, comfortable footwear, sun protection (hat and sunscreen), water, and any personal items needed for the varying weather conditions at the site.

Some booking platforms allow you to upgrade your visit or add extra experiences (like guided tours or mountain hikes) after the initial purchase. However, such changes depend on current availability and may need to be arranged in advance rather than on the day of your visit. Always check with the official ticketing service or your travel operator about possible upgrades.

Yes.
